This is one of the greatest bookstores I have been to and I have been to a bunch of bookstores. The owner is available and very down to earth. The history of the name Reedmor is inspiring. Enjoying the refreshments and the great vibes of the place. My most enjoyable store in the area. Would come back for happy hour. Thank you to Nissa, she was 1 of a kind.

There isn’t an inch of this store that did not bring my heart joy. I do know the owner and she has created an environment of inclusion, community and most importantly, heartfelt, family-oriented legacy. This is a do NOT miss in Portsmouth. 100/10 recommend! Go eat, read and be merry - immediately.

Such a cool spot! They have drinks and light eats. The bookstore is perfectly curated. They have a seasonal section, mysteries, book marks, gifts etc. Everything a good shop should have. The best part was the customer service. They took the time to talk and make us feel welcome.

My friend and I visited on a Thursday afternoon and it was the exact experience we were hoping for! We got some snacks, had a drink and did a little Christmas shopping. Will definitely be back!

Perfect atmosphere!! Coffee is amazing and the service is above and beyond! I’m so impressed and the book selection is curated amazingly. I’m in love and will be coming back 10/10

Love this place. It’s the perfect mix of bookstore and bar. The staff is super friendly. Great vibe, great people, and definitely a spot I’ll keep coming back to. They do trivia some nights and have a lot of book clubs throughout the year. Worth a follow on Instagram to find out about those.

This place is a wonderful addition to downtown Portsmouth. The staff is knowledgeable, kind, and welcoming. The bookstore has a great selection and their bar has drink options for everyone (local brews, N/A, gluten free, etc.). It’s a wonderful spot to go curl up with a good book. Most importantly, they have an adorable, snuggly shop dog who is just the most charming little thing (FYI: They are extremely respectful of people’s comfort and boundaries with dogs. They made sure to ask that I was okay with her hanging out. Once it got a little busier in the shop, they put her safely in the back where she could have quiet time). I’m so glad that Reedmor has joined our community!

Stopped here on a whim, and had a great time! There was a Belgian beer tasting, so got to try some delicious beers from Delirium and St. Bernardus, while hanging out in an intimate and welcoming setting. My wife and I ended up buying a few books at the book store while we were there. We will definitely stop by again!

One of my new favorites! The incredibly friendly and welcoming staff, along with with the wonderful space created by the owner, make it an ideal place to shop for a book, a gift, attend a book club or other event, or grab a quick bite. This bookstore offers more than just books; it provides the coziness and comforts of home. Bonus if you happen to visit on a day when Luna, the shop dog, is there to greet you. I highly recommend visiting this gem!
